In the following lines, we will introduce you to all the protagonists, characters, NPCs and figures that appear in GTA 6. We will update this article as soon as new details or information on confirmed or new characters become known.
GTA 6: These are the main protagonists
While we have three different male protagonists to choose from in GTA 5 – Michael, Trevor and Franklin – Rockstar Games is continuing this trend in GTA 6, albeit with two changes.
Firstly, there are now only two playable protagonists and secondly, we can also control a female character, Lucia.
Not much information is known about Lucia so far. However, we do know that the young woman is Latina and comes from South or Central America.
The male character goes by the name of Jason. So far, less is known about him than about Lucia. However, it is assumed that Jason is a smuggler in a drug cartel and, together with Lucia, has a large mountain of debt that the two of them have to work off through robberies.
The two protagonists are apparently in a relationship together, which can be clearly seen in the first trailer released. The story of the two is strongly reminiscent of the well-known bank robber couple Bonnie and Clyde, who, together with other criminals, robbed grocery stores, petrol stations and smaller banks in the USA during the Great Depression from 1931 to 1935. They committed a total of 14 murders – mainly of police officers.
As in GTA 5, there will be a mechanic in GTA 6 to switch between Jason and Lucia at any time by pressing the down button on the D-Pad.
Other confirmed GTA6 characters
Stefanie
In the first trailer for GTA 6, we see a woman at the beginning (0:08), who is apparently a social worker named Stefanie, who works at the Leonida Department of Corrections and is in a conversation with Lucia.
The social worker sits behind a desk in her office and asks Lucia an opening question: “Do you know why you’re here?”
The young woman simply responds as follows: “Just unlucky, I guess.”
