As soon as you have purchased and set up an arcade in GTA Online, you will gain access to the lucrative Casino Heist, through which you can earn several million GTA dollars.
But first of all, of course, there is the preparatory work of thoroughly scouting the building and finding out important information about the contents of the safe and the casino’s security facilities.
Diamond Casino Heist scope out missions
You collect this information as part of the “Casino Scope Out” reconnaissance mission. The aim is to find access points and take photos for Lester. Based on your preliminary work, you can, for example, penetrate the casino in different ways during the later heist.
- All access points at Casino Heist
Also not entirely unimportant are places of interest in the form of installed security cameras, keypads at entrances, attentive security staff or a blueprint of the safe. We have listed all the points of interest in Diamond Casino below.
Casino Heist: All points of interest
In addition to the 6 access points to the casino, you can photograph a total of 10 other interesting locations. Five of these locations can be photographed inside the casino, the other five can only be scouted through the view of security cameras as part of the equipment mission Vault. Bear in mind that you cannot repeat this mission and you may therefore miss locations.
Points of interest 1-5:
- Parking attendant: At the main entrance to the casino, you will find a parking attendant looking after guests’ vehicles. It is best to take a photo of him together with the main entrance so that you can check off an access point and a place of interest at the same time.
- Guard: For example, you can take a photo of the guard at the elevator in the casino lobby. However, there are several other places in the casino where you may encounter guards. Where you take your photo is entirely up to you.
- Door with keypad: There are several of these that can be photographed both in the casino and outside, as well as on the roof terrace and the store square. However, you have to photograph certain locations for Lester right at the start of the mission anyway. So look for the door behind the pillar and to the right of the cashier. In the basement of your arcade, you can later buy the security door for 425,000 GTA dollars to practice hacking it for the later heist. This is actually a good investment, as it’s a great way to practice hacking.
- Security camera A: The casino is of course teeming with security cameras, and there are two types. On the one hand, there are these very inconspicuous round and flat cameras. You will find one of these directly above the reception desk, for example.
- Security camera B: Secondly, there are surveillance cameras that are directly recognizable as such. So it’s best to take a photo of this model too and send it to Lester.
The guard, the security camera and the door with keypad in combination with the photo of the main entrance are enough for Lester. At this point, you have found out the minimum amount you need to know about the inside of the casino and it is up to you whether you want to complete the mission or continue looking around.

- Vault plans: Via the rear staircase in the casino, you can access the administration area and finally Agatha Baker’s manager’s office. Please note that you can only enter this area with a VIP membership, which you can only obtain by purchasing a penthouse. The blueprints from the vault are on the desk here. This allows you to have a copy of the vault made in the basement of the arcade so that you can practise drilling it and thus be optimally prepared for the heist later on. However, you will have to invest a whopping 900,000 GTA dollars to do this and you will also need VIP membership to unlock it, which will cost you quite a lot. Drilling is not particularly difficult anyway, which is why you can basically save yourself this investment.
Equipment mission: Spy on the vault
In addition to spying out the casino, you also have to collect information about the contents of the vault. In this case, a total of five locations of interest can also be photographed.
First, however, it needs someone with access rights to the security system. Lester has already found out the rough location of a member of Duggan’s security service via his phone signal. So go to Del Perro Pier and hack the guard’s phone there.
Then head back to the casino. Once inside, open the city tour app on your smartphone, which allows you to hack and access secure networks remotely.
Now search for the signal hotspot to access the security cameras. The signal strength increases the closer you are to the hotspot.
Once you have done this, you can finally hack into the security cameras to find out the remaining five locations of interest. You can switch through the various cameras and simultaneously pan left and right with each camera. Only when you receive a corresponding hint in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen will you have discovered another location of interest.
Note: You only have a total of 2 minutes to find all the locations of interest. Once you have left the cameras, you will not be able to use them again. Only when you have completed the heist can you access the equipment mission: Spy on the vault again in a second run.
Points of interest 6-10:
- Reception desk:
- Metal detectors: These are metal detectors, like the ones you know from the airport for example, which sound the alarm as soon as you walk through and have metal objects on your body. You have to switch off these detectors in the later heist before you go through if you want to remain undetected.
- Vault door: This is a small vault where extra loot awaits you.
- Employee elevator:
- Vault contents: Of course, it is very important that you explore the contents of the vault. You can theoretically find cash, gold, works of art or diamonds here later.
- Door to the surveillance room:
